The meaning of air condition is auto conditioning of the air, this mean not only cool down the air, but also it decreases the humidity and moisture. Types of Car Air Conditioning System-

There are two types of air conditioning system that you found in a car.

  • Auto Air Conditioner System – This system is automatically started and shut down, depend on the internal environment of the car.
  • Manually Air Conditioner System – This system depends on the driver who drives the automotive.

How the Air Conditioner Work in Car-

Every air conditioning system has some main systematic mechanism and its work on the main mechanism. The main mechanisms are-

  • Evaporation
  • Condensation
  • Heat of compression
  • Compression
  • Cooling by expansion

The flexible hoses and the hard tub connected all the authentic components to the air conditioning system into a car. Evaporation, condensation, expansion and compression are the physics of the system when it works. There are five key gears of the entire air conditioning system; these are Compressor, Condenser, Receiver- drier, Expansion valve, and Evaporator.

The liquid / fluid that passes round the entire system called as the refrigerant. The refrigerant evaporates in a low temperature, then condenses in a high pressure and start to cooling the internal environment of a car.

  • Compressor – The compressor is the power house of the air conditioning system.
  • Condenser – The condenser is a devise that change the high pressure refrigerant into liquid.
  • Receiver Drier – The liquid made by the condenser pass through the receiver dryer, it takes out the moisture from the refrigerant to avoid the system disorder.
  • Expansion Valve – Work of expansion valve, it takes away the pressure from the refrigerant and helps it to change in vapor on evaporator.
  • Evaporator – Evaporator has fins and tubes and blower. It spread out the vapor into the car to decrease the temperature and the moisture from the air.
